With over 20 years of sales and relationship building experience and qualified in organisational design and development, learning & development and as a chartered member of the CIPD, he focuses on bringing intentional human-centred working to all walks of life, and has the performance evidence to validate this necessary paradigm shift. Whether through connection-centred workshops, keynote talks, live events or through Thinking Partnerships, Garry is driven by his two non-negotiable core values of growth and connection.
Fiona is a qualified diversity and inclusion leader and D&I company award winner with over 25 years working in a variety of roles in Financial Services including 22 years at HSBC. She has 15 years’ experience of leading and growing the global diversity & inclusion agenda for one of the largest banking and financial service organisations in the world, including leading the UK as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at HSBC UK. She was the founder of HSBC’s first “BAME” network Embrace in 2012 and was the UK Ethnicity lead for over 5 years, the driving force behind the bank’s success on the race and ethnicity agenda.
Fiona is passionate about people and inclusion and works tirelessly for the implementation of a holistic strategic approach which underpins all aspects of people decisions in business. She is an awards judge, speaker, panelist, thought leader, mentor and career coach.
After great success at HSBC and integral to them winning numerous company awards in diversity and inclusion she has established her own consultancy business FD2I, focused on driving action which aspires to move from diversity to inclusion. She is also the co-founder of Inclusive CEOs a peer to peer network connecting and engaging CEOs and their C suite executives to Commit, Act and Lead on the diversity and inclusion agenda. As if that wasn’t enough, she has recently co-founded and established the Black Leaders Network focused on being a positive force for change for Black inclusion and equality.
Fiona is a company member of the UN Women National Committee UK, chaired by Baroness Sandhip Verma supporting the Trustees in their aims for better gender equality UK and globally.
Pieter obtained his BA, LLB and LLM degrees from University of Stellenbosch, and qualified as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2009. His doctorate, due for completion soon, is on the regulatory framework for internet monopolies in competition law.
Pieter has been active both in legal practice and education for over a decade. He was added to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Roster of Experts for Software Licencing, Intellectual Property and Competition, and Digital Entertainment in 2018. As attorney, he has represented clients in a variety of litigious and commercial matters. Currently his primary focus Is on the provision of legal risk management and advisory services for small and medium enterprises. He is also the company secretary for Full Stack, a bespoke software development firm.
Pieter has lectured and published in the fields of competition law, intellectual property law, ICT law, labour law, legal education and digital entertainment law. He is a co-author of “The Law of Intellectual Property in South Africa” (Second Edition, LexisNexis, 2017) and a frequent contributor to the WIPO Summer School held annually in South Africa. He also assists in the presentation of various online courses (including for Getsmarter, Aston Business School’s Online MBA, and the WIPO Academy).
